increased safety in my home

I have a bathtub shower, but with the passing years, I have slipped a couple of times, nearly falling, when trying to wash a foot while standing on the other one. This inspired me to think about a solution and this shower chair works fine for that. It's easy to prop one foot on the seat while washing it, use the back for stability when I need it, sit down to wash when I need to do that. Lightweight, easily moved, easily adjusted, no problems. I keep it in my tub all the time, so there is no question of moving it around, in and out. To my mind, everyone who has some balance or flexibility problems as they grow older would be wise to consider something like this.

I got this for my Husband and he told me after using it a few times that I may have just saved his life. It is very easy to assemble (when you turn the legs the right way). The directions are very clear and you need no tools. The screws are made so that arthritic hands can hold them with ease. The seat is a comfortable size even for a 200+ pound person. the back has holes so that you can have it close to the seat or farther away for a larger person.
